I uninstalled Workstation and removed all settings and re-installed it without avail. A few days ago I updated to 20.04.4 (with kernel 5.4.0-110-generic) and Shared VMs stopped working. I've been running Workstation 15.5.x without major problems since initially setting up this Ubuntu 20.04 system.
